    Rooftop views of the Eiffel Tower, fine courtyard, luxurious room decor

    The lobby feels outdated with dated carpets!!! Noise from the street is a real problem at night!!! I found hidden charges at checkout rather annoying!!!

    Perfect location, it was near to the Champs Elysees on the Montaigne among the famous designer stores from Paris, a rather quiet shopping street between the Champs-Elysees, and Avenue Montaigne in the 8th arrondissement near the Eiffel Tower. The staff helped us with check in.

    Amazing location, first class service, the concierge is doing an excellent job. Guest relations lady was very helpful.

    The toilet and bathroom are in separate rooms, I never like it. The renovation was done pretty quick , u feel like they didn't think everything through, they had no time for that. Rooms are a bit expensive for what they are

    During my recent visit, I experienced really good service when the staff arranged early check-in and provided a complimentary fruit plate. The staff's integrity impressed me when they explained that my safe was left open but assured me everything was secure. The comfortable bed and great bathtub. I found the location ideal for nearby shopping and attractions.

    The hotel was absolutely amazing! I stayed here as I'm a big fan of sex and the city(the last 2 episodes were made here) the staff were kind enough to show me the room where the episodes were made and allowed us to take photos and go to the balcony to take photos.. It's in a gorgeous part of Paris too, right in the heart of the champs-elysees (make sure you have lots of money for this hotel)

    The hotel was ridiculously over priced €600 for 1 night, it was a once off thing that I won't be doing again, the mini bar was completely over priced, ridiculously over priced, €6 for a special k bar and €9 for a mini can of Pringles!!! The rooms were extremely warm, couldn't get the air con working and it wasn't even warm in Paris when we were there! Luckily our breakfast was included as for a continental breakfast (croissant, pastries, toast, tea/coffee) it was €41 per person which is madness, it was lovely but not for that kind of money! No kettle in room to make tea/coffee, if you wanted tea it was €12, I don't know how they can even charge those prices, I know Paris is expensive but that was O.T.T and most of Paris was actually fine for drinking/eating to my surprise

    Very, very high marks for the staff of the Plaza Athenee. I felt cosseted and counseled and perfectly at home on my solo trip to Paris. Will definitely make a spring return to this wonderful hotel.

    The decor of the hotel is a mixture of several styles which looked gorgeous. The hotel looked recently renovated but preserved its style. The room was equipped perfectly (modern lighting system, more than 100 TV stations, 24 radio stations, CD) and had a view of the marvelous inner courtyard (fountain and birds). The bathroom is perfect, the breakfast is very good. There is a fitness room in the hotel. The service level is very high and the staff tries to be personal with the guests.

    Excellent location (off the Champs-Elysee and near the Eiffel Tower) and staff service but the quality of the rooms is really average. The lobby and the exterior are designed in a very peculiar and interesting style. Everything in the room was electronic and worked at the button push. The service is top notch and could not be better.

    The room is designed in a classical French style but looked a bit boring, without ingenuity. I was not impressed by American breakfast. I was expecting a bit more panache for the price they charged me.
